How to convert annual to weekly pay

The quickest way to find weekly pay is to divide annual salary by 52. Fortnightly uses 26, and monthly uses 12. To estimate hourly, divide annual by (52 × weekly hours). We assume 38 hours by default.

  • Weekly = annual ÷ 52; Fortnightly = annual ÷ 26; Monthly = annual ÷ 12.
  • Hourly = annual ÷ (52 × weekly hours). Adjust hours if you work part-time.
  • If you need take-home pay, apply PAYG tax brackets and the Medicare levy using the main calculator.

Example: $104,000 per year ≈ $2,000 per week; ≈ $4,000 per fortnight; ≈ $8,667 per month; ≈ $52.63 per hour at 38 hours.
